Carlo Piras, Giulia Lubino and Dino Carta are natives of Sardinia, Italy. As co-owners they bring to Café Americano their region’s historic tradition of food and service. Carlo has owned restaurants, his first being in Sardinia, since 1991. Dino received his classic culinary training at the famous "Instituto Alberghiero di Sassari" and cooked at some of the most famous restaurants in Italy, London and Paris. Carlo and Giulia skillfully oversee the front of the house with an eagle eye while Dino is pridefully preparing the food in the open kitchen. Both have the same high standards and expectations of their professional and personable staff. Dino believes that food should be prepared simply with only the freshest ingredients selected to bring out the flavorful essence of the dish. Carlo Giulia and Dino made Café Americano a “classic ristorante” where the dining experience will not easily be forgotten.
Cafe Americano is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. On weekdays breakfast is served from 7:30am to 11:30am. Weekend breakfast hours are 7:30am to 12:00pm. Lunch is served untill 5:00pm. Cafe Americano serves dinner from 5:00pm to 10:30pm.

Outside & Patio
Café Americano provides comfortable, fully shaded dining al fresco where it’s patrons can enjoy the simple pleasures of great food, wine and service while leisurely watching the world go by. Dogs are welcome!

Private Parties & Catering
Café Americano will accommodate private parties of up to 150 people. Catering services available. Chef Dino Carta offers a chef’s menu or in-home private cooking. Chef Dino Carta also extends an invitation to those patrons who wish to join him in the kitchen to experience first hand the preparation of their meal. One semi-private room is also available for parties up to 30 people.
